A Mother’s Blessing Ceremony is an intimate gathering that honors the mother’s transition into parenthood. Through reflection, affirmations, and community care, we create space for her to be held, witnessed, and supported.

This is not a baby shower.
This is about her.

Facilitated with cultural reverence and family choice.

#2016 what my 2016 hittin for ?! Entrepreneurship, I’ve always chased the bag 💰Beys Temple was an all natural bath and body skin care line. Specifically for sensitive skin, dry skin and Black skin.
Activism, Black families been my primary focus and motivation ✊🏾 Advocacy, community engagement and building is a core element of my foundation Mama Bear 🐻, been a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter but forgot to be ME . One thing that’s consistent for Iyanna , through Beys Temple or The Birthing Hut, I find tangible and equitable solutions to support service and educate my community. Rooted in community #2016

It is not a footnote.
It is not “when you get back to normal.”

Postpartum is a sacred healing window where the body, mind, and spirit are recalibrating after birth.

Yet, in modern systems, support for mothers ends far too soon.

Our ancestors understood this. They centered rest, nourishment, warmth, and community , because they knew that how a mother is cared for shapes her long term health and the wellbeing of her family.

This month, we are reclaiming postpartum care the ancestral way.

Because mothers deserve more than survival … they deserve restoration.

Black Birth Renaissance presented by Birthing with Brandi & The Birthing Hut

👀 April 17–18, 2026

Black Birth Renaissance is a two day community centered conference held during Black Maternal Health Week, honoring Black birth as art, culture, resistance, and rebirth.

Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, this gathering reimagines maternal health through creativity, joy, family, and collective care. From a vibrant Family Day to a powerful day of dialogue, healing, and visioning, Black Birth Renaissance centers Black families, birth workers, artists, and ancestors in a living movement toward liberation and wellness.

This is not just a conference.
It is a cultural revival.
A return to community.
A renaissance of Black birth.
