For 23 years, Joe has been a dedicated employee at The Children's Home. He works with children and families as a counselor and provides support when people need it most. His energy, compassion, and positive attitude shine through in the work he does every day. Happy Pride! All families deserve safety, belonging, and support. We are proud to work with and welcome all families in our programs.

We also know that LGBTQ+ youth are disproportionately represented in the child welfare system and are more likely to experience negative outcomes, including difficulty securing a permanent family. May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Here at TCH, we recognize the importance of mental health as part of overall health. We are excited to share that we are soon to formally launch our Outpatient Mental Health Counseling services! Our counseling services are open to the community and available to any child or adult who needs support for life stressors, trauma, grief and loss, infertility, donor conception, maternal mental health, marital and committed partner relationships, parenting a child with a medical and/or developmental need & more.
