Many new moms are unaware that heart-related complications are a leading cause of maternal deaths, especially among Black women and those with limited access to care. That’s why Birth & Beyond Services is committed to supporting not just your baby’s health—but yours too.

Here’s what to watch for after giving birth:
🔸 Shortness of breath
🔸 Swelling in legs or feet that gets worse
🔸 Chest pain or fast heartbeat
🔸 Extreme fatigue or dizziness
🔸 High blood pressure or headaches that don’t go away

🚨 These may be signs of postpartum preeclampsia, cardiomyopathy, or other serious conditions. Don’t wait—get checked, ask questions, and speak up about your symptoms.
