Consistency is the key to long-term success.

Fast results usually come from taking extreme measures, but real results come from being on a consistent and sustainable plan which might feel slow to some.

It's easy to lose hope when the scale isn't giving you credit for your hard work. But eating with a blindfold on after facing disappointment only makes matters worse.

Stay focused. Stay positive. KEEP TRYING. And don't step away from healthy habits to self-sabotage. ✌️

My Story

When I was 18, my poor diet and lifestyle caught up to me fast. I didn’t cook and relied on fast food and junk food. I gained 25lb in my first semester of college. I knew I had to do something about it and fast! Luckily, I was on the softball team, loved running, and had a fitness center on campus. Exercising regularly helped me lose some of the weight, but I never felt fit enough. The rest of my college career I yo-yo’d on the scale and kept up with bad habits. After college, I met my husband and had my first child. I gained 50 pounds during that pregnancy. At a whopping 210 pounds, I didn’t think it was possible to lose weight with exercise alone.

I started to research nutrition and learned what foods to eat and what to avoid. I started prepping my own meals and being very careful what I ate. I became fully plant-based and made the time to exercise 6 times a week and eat healthy at the same time. I lost 75 pounds in just over 9 months. I started Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching to inspire women to transform their health like I did. For 5 years I maintained a healthy fit body and helped dozens of women to lose weight, get stronger, and change their lives. Then I got pregnant again, and this time I gained 75 pounds, even more than the first time!

I had some unknown health issues that weren’t discovered until after the pregnancy, and I developed chronic back pain and struggled to lose the weight. I had 3 bulged discs in my back, along with hormone and nutrient imbalances. After learning holistic strategies to heal from these problems I finally started to feel better and got back into shape. I believe these experiences have helped me even more to inspire other women who deal with obesity and health problems. It is possible to bounce back from weight gain and to reverse health issues. I now use dozens of nutrition lessons to educate my clients on nutrition strategies and other natural solutions like herbal medicine.
