Based on availability, order plants, then pick them up, when they are potted and ready for sale.

Daffodils are up. They are struggling for prominence among the debris from last Fall. Would love to be working on a Spring Plant Sale but am recuperating from hernia surgery. Early bulbs, i.e. snow drops and Siberian squill, etc. are petering out while Virginia blue bells are leafing out in their place. So many moves are pending but I doubt if I'll ever get around to them. In any event, it sure is nice to wake up and go out early in the morning and find it is already nice and warm outside. I'm looking forward to a Spring, Summer and Fall of discovery out there.

It's winter here in Western Pennsylvania and my feeder garden for "Mt. Lebanon Perennial Plant Sale" is filled with weeds and debris. For health reasons I was unable to work in the garden the second half of last summer, 2018 and that entire fall. Work is underway now to raise my physical fitness level here to enable better gardening results next summer. I'm going to see if I have at least one more gardening season in me? Who knows, maybe the garden will yield up one more Mt. Lebanon Perennial Plant Sale in 2019?

Noticed this morning, here in W. PA, a daffodil in bloom. Also, I'm seeing the star magnolia buds are swelled up and about to burst. Made me think about Spring and the possibilities of a new plant sale. Have been having some health problems dating back to 2012 so haven't been doing much outside work in the garden. Hope to turn that around in 2017. So, since hope springs eternal, hopefully this Spring we'll see the biggest Plant Sale that "Home of Mt. Lebanon Perennial Plant Sale" has ever seen. :-)
