Today, we're excited to announce the launch of Medic 957, our new Paramedic Response Unit (PRU) in Beaver County!
This unit, led by AHN Prehospital Care Services, will work alongside local EMS agencies to enhance emergency medical care for residents, especially in rural communities.
Medic 957 is staffed by highly skilled AHN paramedics, certified by the PA Department of Health, and equipped to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS). Stationed at the New Sewickley Fire District, they're ready to respond to patient needs and support our community-based EMS partners.
"We are always proud to collaborate with our community-based EMS colleagues to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients across the network," said Bob Twaddle, vice president, AHN Prehospital Care Services.
This is our eighth PRU, expanding our reach since the first unit launched in 1988.
