This post is just for the love of shea butter! 🤗 Giving thanks to the centuries full of generations of African women who nurtured the karite trees, sustaining the practice of collecting and sorting the fallen fruits, with their nuts full of so much potential. I'm grateful for their knowledge, wisdom and understanding to know the timing, the process and the best ways and uses for getting the best out of this magnificent piece of nature!
Shea butter truly is African women's gold and I'm honored to walk in a continued tradition of respecting Mother Earth's creation and sharing this gift with the community in love.

The 8 oz E-Ma's Green Hair Food is finally on its way to the East End Food Co-op today, with a new label! Plain, almond and lavender shea butter will be available there as well. As always, we only use Grade A, shea butter in our products.

Today was a teaching day with 8 teens from The Legacy Arts Project Learn & Earn job training summer program. They were fully engaged doing math and chemistry creating their body care products! Lots of great questions and convo about wellness!
