We had the joy of experiencing the exhibition by through a Spanish-language tour led by

Gracias Erick for guiding us with such generosity! and thank you to everyone who joined us. We hope to keep creating more spaces like this, not only for Spanish speakers, but also for those learning Spanish and looking to connect with art and community 🙌🏽

During Women’s History Month, more than 160 Latina women arrived at the Massachusetts State House through Legado.

Legado continues to move forward, and it will keep moving.

In this meaningful month, it felt especially important to bring these women with us: women who represent our community, who work, live, create, and build a legacy every day. Bringing the Legado book to the Creative Sector Advocacy Week celebration was deeply significant, and it was incredibly moving to feel their presence with us in that space.

Because we were not only advocating for our own dreams and rights, we were also advocating for the dreams of many women who deserve space to speak, to lead, and to be fully who they are.

We also brought with us the artists who were part of our exhibition “We Are America Too.” Carrying these messages into a political space, especially in this social moment, felt both powerful and deeply moving.

Today, more than ever, art has become a tool of protest, visibility, and collective voice. Bringing these stories and messages into every possible space is not only a responsibility, it is also a privilege and an honor.

La Semana de Advocacy del Sector Creativo de Massachusetts comenzó en el State House. El 3 de marzo viajamos a Boston para celebrar a los artistas de todo el estado, pero también para levantar nuestras voces y defender el valor del arte, la cultura y el trabajo creativo en nuestras comunidades.

Fue profundamente emocionante encontrarnos con tantos artistas amigos de los Berkshires, y también con creadores de otras regiones de Massachusetts. Personas con las que hemos colaborado, con las que compartimos proyectos, luchas y sueños, y otras que conocimos por primera vez pero con quienes sentimos una conexión inmediata a través del arte.

Momentos como este nos recuerdan algo muy importante: no estamos solos. Somos parte de una comunidad creativa amplia, diversa y comprometida que trabaja todos los días para que el arte tenga un lugar vivo y necesario en nuestras ciudades.

Estar ahí juntos, acompañándonos, escuchándonos y reconociendo el trabajo de nuestros compañeros fue profundamente significativo. Porque cuando los artistas nos encontramos, no solo celebramos lo que hacemos: también reafirmamos por qué vale la pena seguir creando, defendiendo y sosteniendo el arte en nuestras comunidades. ✨

Hoy, 8 de marzo, conmemoramos el Día Internacional de la Mujer junto a un grupo de mujeres que se reunieron para conversar, escucharse y sostenerse en comunidad.

Abrimos un espacio para compartir cómo nos sentimos frente a las realidades que nos rodean, que nos afectan y nos atraviesan de distintas maneras.

Desde nuestras diferencias, nuestras historias y nuestras formas de sentir, pudimos encontrarnos con honestidad y vulnerabilidad.

Gracias a todas las que se sumaron hoy y a quienes hicieron posible este encuentro.
Y gracias también a todas las mujeres que nos precedieron para que hoy podamos seguir construyendo juntas.

Entre Nosotras 🌸

Este 8 de marzo nos reunimos para crear un espacio de conversación, escucha y comunidad entre mujeres. Un encuentro para hablar, sentir, mover el cuerpo y celebrar juntas nuestra resiliencia, nuestra fuerza y nuestro amor.

Traé algo para compartir vamos a tener música, un círculo de ritmo y canto, y arte para niñas y niños.

También podrán visitar la exhibición “Women in Art”, con 73 artistas mujeres del Berkshires.

Un espacio para encontrarnos, sostenernos y recordarnos que no estamos solas.

Te invitamos a un tour guiado en español en el Instituto de Arte Clark , donde conoceremos la historia y el crecimiento del museo.

Al finalizar, compartiremos una caminata grupal en la nieve, que formará parte de nuestro programa de Intercambio de Idiomas (Language Exchange): un espacio de encuentro con conversaciones en inglés y en español, abierto a toda la comunidad.

Today we hosted our first Language Exchange and it was truly a success ✨
It was deeply rewarding to share this space with community members who are genuinely interested in learning new languages, connecting with others, and exchanging cultures.

In the social context we are living in today, creating spaces like this, rooted in dialogue, respect, and mutual understanding, coming together like this is a meaningful response to the times we’re living in.

We already can’t wait for next month to continue exchanging language, culture, and stories 💬🌍

Endless thanks to for being our host and for opening their doors and for making space for us to gather and build community together. Thanks to Molly Lovejoy and Maru for facilitating and organizing the event.
