A New Englander from birth and a local since 2012, Ashley has long known that there's something wonderful in these hills. Being a practitioner of Tarot for 12 years now, it was finally on a whim one fateful night last July that Ashley began offering readings at the home for magick that is Witch Slapped. Nearly every Friday since, they've dutifully continued to appear there to read their cards and offer translations of the divine to the truth seekers that find them. Because of the circumstances that set this practitioner on their path, it was only fitting, then, to dub their work as Tarot by A. Whim. Their intuitive card readings make up one aspect of their overarching business, Miscellaneous Whimsy, which provides a variety of offerings such as esoteric crafts, magickal creations, and digital illustrations. As the stars continue to align overtime it is with a bit of faith, trust, and pixie dust that their magick continues to grow and shine.

McKay Street Parking Garage Closure for It’s Alive! Block Party & Kids’ Zone on Saturday, October 21

From 9 am to 7 pm on October 21, the uncovered parking area at the McKay Street entrance of the McKay Street Parking Garage will be closed as will that entrance to the parking garage and all parking in the parking garage on the McKay Street level.

To park for the day, enter the parking garage via the Depot Street entrance for access to the upper parking levels.

Downtown Pittsfield, Inc.’s Downtown Pittsfield… It’s Alive! Block Party and Kids’ Zone on October 21st have been moved inside the McKay Street Parking Garage due to Saturday’s rainy forecast.

Last week's pop-up After Hours event Witch Slapped was terrific! Alongside the other service providers I worked with that night, everyone attending was absolutely lovely. Truly, it was a magical evening.
