Market opens on Saturday, May 30th and will open every Saturday through October 10th.

Many people have sent us messages regarding Marty’s PET scan last Friday wanting to know how it went. We have been waiting for results and yesterday we reached out to the oncologist office and received this back. So unfortunately there’s no news yet.

Please note: we have deleted our previous post regarding help with line repair. We have reached the dollar amount that we believe it will cost for materials and this was never about “making” money - only helping the family to cover the cost. We are happy to be able to tell the family that because of many of you, they no longer need to worry about it as it’s been taken care of. This will be a huge relief for them. We are blown away by the help you’ve all given to this. It amazes us how wonderful you all are and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️

UPDATE on our tubing vandalism -

Thanks to the Loudon police who found it was a neighborhood child with autism who didn’t like the blue color of the tubing. The family has offered to pay for damages. We are quite familiar from our own experiences with Marty’s own son Timothy who has autism, and understand that particular sensory issues can bother neurodivergent people and lead them to do quirky things.

We are frustrated that it happened, but feel better knowing who it was and why. We are happy it was solved quickly and that he took responsibility immediately. We are also happy that it wasn’t a malicious act by adults - it makes the whole thing a little easier to move past and rebuild.

THANK YOU to everyone who expressed their feelings about this incident and offered help. We realize once again what a great community this area is and how wonderful people can truly be. Thank you ❤️

Lots of you know that this guy is battling prostate cancer that had metastasized to his sacrum and rib. He’s been fighting two years with radiation and hormone therapy (which is awful) and today, two years after diagnosis he is heading for a PSMA PET scan to see if the drugs are holding the cancer back or if it has become resistant to medication. We don’t share his health journey much on our business page but lots of you are aware of his struggles and you inquire about him when you see us in person and we thank you for that.

Today we ask you for positive vibes and lots of prayers for a clear scan because we truly believe that prayers have gotten us through the last two years. We could use lots of them today and over the next few days while we wait for results.

*Men! Ask your doctor to check your PSA levels! Advocate for yourselves and don’t hesitate if you have symptoms - prostate cancer is hitting men earlier and earlier and you can stop it if caught early enough! 💙

This is our day. How is yours? We work really hard to run this small, local business and are just a family run operation. If somebody had a problem, we would’ve been more than happy to sit down like adults and speak about it. Making syrup is not a cheap business, and replacing tubing and lines is a hell of a lot of work. We do it out of love, certainly not for money, so a blow like this just sucks all around.

If you happen to have any information on this destruction of property, please let us know privately. If this was your choice/work, we’d like to know why. We will be headed to speak to the police this afternoon. Thanks in advance.

Since the boss’s cancer has robbed him of his strength - we need to find new ways to do things. Good thing he’s got redneck ingenuity and always comes up with a system to work for him.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported us this season and allowed him to have the extra funds to buy this! It means so much more than you even realize when you buy from us. ❤️❤️❤️
