For over 10 years, Carol H. has been a vital part of our Electronic Health Records (EHR) team, but her impact at QMG reached far beyond her desk. As a regular volunteer with the Kindness Crew at the Farmers Market and Habitat for Humanity, Carol shared her spirit of service with the community.

“I have enjoyed the people I work with, and those I would encounter in the office, the most. I’ve also enjoyed the work I’ve done during my time here and volunteering with the QMG Kindness Crew and events like the Farmers Market, Bridge the Gap, Man Up, and Habitat for Humanity,” Carol shared.

That kindness didn't go unnoticed by her teammates. Ashley L., Health Information Services Supervisor, shared, "Ten years is an incredible milestone, and we are so grateful for the dedication and loyalty that Carol has shown the EHR department. Her resilience and kind heart has made this department a better place to work."

Carol, we are going to miss your benevolence and talent, but we are so excited for you to enjoy some well-deserved time for home projects and family! 💙

Beyond the finish line, the Bridge the Gap to Health Race is about community. 💙

The 2026 Bridge the Gap Grant will support the renovation of Connect Child and Family’s visitation space. The redesigned space will provide a welcoming environment for children to connect with their parents during foster care.

Additionally, a portion of the funds raised from the race will also support the ongoing efforts of the Quincy Medical Group Foundation to provide financial assistance to community members experiencing a health event and nonprofit organizations that directly impact the community, with a focus on community development, health, and youth initiatives.
