Stairway to Heaven,
I woke up at 4 am and hitched a ride with to one of the most stunning sunrise hikes above the clouds. The elevation nearly took my breath away. It was cold and windy, but once the sun came out, it warmed right up.
Pico do Arieiro is 5,965 feet above sea elevation.
