This month's athlete spotlight is Pittsford Mendon sophomore, Miles Rae.

⚽Miles is a goalkeeper with the U16 RNY FC Academy- MLS Next. Miles is not just a force in the net but is known to show up everyday with maturity and grit! Miles was recently called up to fight for a starting position with the U17 team! Their next tournament is in Tennessee for the MLS Next Cup & Showcase in June!

⚽Miles favorite athlete is Arsenal goalkeeper, David Raya. He also loves to refuel at Chipotle!

Flower City Challenge downtown this past Sunday morning! As always, and outdid themselves! Allowing students the opportunity to dive into the world of sports chiropractic is a gratifying experience. Watching them grow as practitioners in this environment is why I do this.

15 students from Seneca Falls and Depew Health Centers, 4 doctors, 100+ encounters. Numbers speak for themselves. is a trusted member in the community, running community, and sports community. Our students provide high quality care and are top tier future chiropractors! The amount of patients that came up to me today with 5 star reviews was amazing.

Spring is right around the corner which means we are getting closer and closer to golf season! Now is a perfect time to come in for a TPI body-swing assessment! What is a TPI assessment you ask? It is a comprehensive, full body examination consisting of golf specific exercises that aim to identify any biomechanical issues in the golf swing that may be leading to pain, injury, or decreased power and efficiency.

Is a TPI assessment right for you? Yes! TPI is great for competitive and recreational golfers alike, regardless of skill level.

But nothings wrong, do I still need an assessment? Absolutely. Even in the absence of any known issues, TPI can help identify underlying issues that may be leading to an increased chance of future injury or causing faults in your swing.

How can TPI help me? TPI can help improve your golf fitness level leading to less fatigue during rounds, the ability to play more often, and more power and efficiency throughout your round.

Welcome to our brand new ASC Athlete Spotlight!

Our first spotlight will be on Pittsford Mendon junior, Evan Weiner. Evan was an integral member of the Section V Champions, Regional Champions and State Semi-finalists, Pittsford Panther Hockey team. He finished the season with 4 goals and 3 assists. Evan is also a member of the Junior Amerks organization. His favorite athlete is Pittsburgh Penguins winger, David Pastrnak! 🏒

Introducing aspiring chiropractor, Melanie Hsu!

Melanie is a 10th trimester chiropractic student from D'Youville University. She is from Toronto, Canada and holds a B.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Waterloo. She is a HUGE fitness fanatic and big foodie! In her spare time, Melanie enjoys powerlifting, being outdoors, making new recipes and exploring new local bakeries/café's!

Melanie will be at our office for the next few weeks, observing and learning BTS of a chiropractic office. Let's give her a warm ASC welcome!

Dr. Jose is in Lake Placid with the sports medicine team at the Olympic Trials for USA Bobsled and Skeleton. He will return on Monday, 3/24. Please book online to get on his schedule! In the meantime, Dr. Nick has regular hours at the office and can help you in any capacity!

Hi Rochester! This week let us introduce Julie Murante-Miller, L.Ac. Although Julie runs her own business, it has always been and will be part of ASC as she was part of the initial practice back in 2010!

Julie is a true Rochesterian, born and raised! She holds her BS in Exercise Physiology (Castleton University, VT) and MS in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from FLSAOM.

"Always into health and fitness, I was a personal trainer at Midtown, discovering Acupuncture after experiencing low back pain after the delivery of my son. I instantly fell into the profession as it helped immensely and began school 8 months later. Following the education, I served as an instructor within the program until the closing of the school.

Within my time as an Acupuncturist, I’ve had additional training in Constitutional Facial Acupuncture, Acupuncture Detox, and was co-founder of Rochester Community Acupuncture.

I believe the bodies have incredible ability to heal and my goal is to provide balance and harmony in the body. I treat a variety of complaints ranging from migraines, digestive health, to stress and anxiety.

I have a true love for the outdoors; anytime I am outdoors, I feel my best. While spending time in the Adirondacks is a favorite, you can also find me hiking, biking, playing tennis, or cross country skiing. I also enjoy working part-time at the local YMCA’s, volunteering, and spending time with my husband, son, and cats."
