Despite the rain, another successful Duck Drop Derby in the books! A sincere thanks to all the volunteers who participated in the heavy lifting, selling tickets, driving boats, scooping ducks, manning tables and other behind the scenes work. Also thank you to all who supported us by purchasing tickets, donating prizes and of course being one of our sponsors! We couldn’t have done it without you!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. An estimated 15,780 children are diagnosed with cancer each year; in 2022, ten little ones were lost to cancer in Rochester alone. This month, the Town of Pittsford will endeavor to raise awareness about childhood cancer. The best way to help our community is to support organizations like the C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association in Rochester, an organization that provides critical support to families of children coping with this unrelenting disease. Together, we can work toward a common goal: ending childhood cancer.
