Thanksgiving is coming!! 🦃
I no, I'm sorry, Halloween first 🎃🧙🧹🎃 but I have to shout this out!!
We're going to pull it together again this year 💜💪🏻 With the help of our Local American legion post, some super amazing, loyal people, and loyal local businesses. We are Pleased to say....
THE 2ND ANNUAL JUST BECAUSE THANKSGIVING IS HAPPENING🎃🦃🎃🦃!!
Unfortunately we can not contend to the size we did last year due to this year's limitations but here's the details:
We will have open seating from 1pm-3pm at our Schaghticoke Legion🇺🇸🇺🇸 Please message myself or call the Legion directly to give us a head count and approximate time.
We will have take outs available for you to walk through our buffet and take your meals to go.
We will also be offering meal delivery as well!! Get us names, get us addresses, and let them no to expect a little surprise on Turkey day🦃🦃🦃
If anyone has any interest in making a donation to help our cause please message us. Food and other supplies would be very helpful and/or monetary donations, Trustco💜💪🏻
Last year we served/delivered about 126 meals🤯🤯🥰🥰
Then finished the night off by making a generous food donation to St. Josephs house in Troy!! All with your help and support!!

Remember these meals are not meant to take the place of what our local food pantry provides.
It is to simply offer a warm home cooked meal, some smiling eyes, cause we have to wear masks😷😷 , and some conversation to people Just Because 💜💪🏻 You know best the people who could use it and we want to no them too❤️❤️ TIA

Hey everyone!! We hope your all doing good 💪🏻 We're still making things happen 💜😇
If you hadn't heard about the St. John's Cemetery damage on the news please check it out. Some of our amazing local individuals have been working together to help with this project. The updates are slowly coming in on how to go about putting these stones back where they belong. This is the latest update on the damage to the cemetery in Schaghticoke. Jeshua D. Cail will be repairing any broken stones and running the show. Matt Dormandy will be running the excavator. M&J custom woodcrafting will be supplying the insurance. Jason W Coffin will be supplying the crush stone. The American legion in Schaghticoke n the VFW in valley falls will be replacing the flags. Just Because 💪🏻💜 will be providing any other help we can as well as donating. We are going to have a crew of 10 to 15 guys lifting the stones.
Just because thoughts on donating are this: These guys will need fuel for equipment materials and supplies that aren't being free in order to fix the headstones properly, some water, a quick lunch, and a few snacks💯 This day is going to be a full day project! So if anyone is interested in making a monetary donation to The Just Because fund please contact us or go directly to Trustco and make your deposit 🤗🤗 It will most certainly be put to good use towards a wonderful project.
As far as manpower we are good to go!!! Thank you for everyone who has already offered! To The people donating their time, equipment, materials, and muscle... Thank you from the bottom of every angel's heart 😇😇😇😇😇💪🏻💜

I'd like to take a minute to introduce you all to Megan... 😇 It feels surreal to have to introduce the driving force behind our Just Because 💜 mission this way. But here goes nothing.
Almost 2 years ago, many of us lost this beautiful, bright eyed, always smiling women. We lost her to the hands of someone else.. her life was taken, not only from herself, but her 2 children, her family, and her endless friends way to soon!
She was a daughter, a sister, and a dear friend, to our crew!! She was solid as a rock for everyone she knew, you never had to question her friendship, her soul shined through her eyes.
We ask all of you to put the shock, the pain, the tears, and the fear aside and PLEASE keep sharing the news clips!
Someone knows, someone saw, someone, something, please! We'll never give up on you Megan, any of us, because you never would have given up on us 💜😇🙏🏻

Happy Friday everyone! Just a little update for you all.
We apologize for not posting lately. It has been a busy and crazy winter for us.
Though We have been quiet on FB, we have been busy helping several community members where help is needed.
Yes, Just Because is going strong and helping our community as much as we can.
We have some great fundraising ideas coming up in the next few months so keep a lookout..
