Since this term Quiet Quitters came out, I've wondered how did we get to a place where people try so little that they think it's ok to skate by. Now, I know it is a systemic problem, and there is plenty of 'blame' to go around to leadership and to the employee, blah, blah, blah. 🙄 It's just not how I was raised. Act, dress, be curious, stretch to, etc the position you want to get someday. It may not be very fulfilling right now (bagging groceries isn't very glamorous and didn't get me to where I am now), but what can you learn from where you are right now (how to treat people, to communicate, to serve)?
What can you do today and tomorrow and next week that will create an environment that you DO feel some fulfillment (this is good for leadership and 'just' employees). Take pride in whatever you do! Do your best in every position you hold! And if you feel the need to quiet quit and just coast, get off your ass and create or find a position that you want. You stop moving forward and growing when you coast. Strength/growth comes with striving/struggle/overcoming. That's something everyone can do no matter their 'position'.

(yesterday's Darren Daily set today's up very well; listen to that too if you can, there's generally a link on the same page when you visit this one)
