Every year more than 1.7 million people in the US are diagnosed with sepsis. When it comes to identifying sepsis, remember TIME matters! If you, or someone close to you, experiences a combination of these symptoms, seek help immediately.

Sepsis Awareness
Prevention is the best way to avoid sepsis, the body’s overwhelming and life-threatening response to an infection, which can lead to tissue damage, organ failure, and even death. Infections can be avoided by practicing consistent hygiene, avoiding people with infections, and getting all recommended vaccinations. If an infection does occur, follow the appropriate steps for treatment and remember to seek help immediately if needed.
