Emily Nicole Stewart
Speech Language Pathologist - MS, CCC-SLP & Director of Rehab
With a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a minor in Health Promotion from the University of Kentucky, followed by a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from the same institution, Emily brings over five years of dedicated experience as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist.
Emily is driven by her passion for helping others maximize their quality of life, particularly within the geriatric population. She believes in the importance of building strong relationships with residents to help them achieve their goals and reach their highest potential.
Outside of her professional life, Emily enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, and cooking. A fun fact about her: she hails from Kentucky and met her husband, originally from Iowa, during a spontaneous spring break trip to Myrtle Beach in college. They reconnected later and are now happily married, living halfway between their hometowns in Indiana.
Her favorite snack is popcorn, and after a long day at work, she finds relaxation in evening walks with her husband and their dogs. Emily values the collaboration with her management team and the insight she gains into all therapy disciplines, enhancing patient care and planning.
