Rehab Success 💪

After a serious accident left Mr. Cilento with multiple rib fractures and a subarachnoid hemorrhage, he arrived at AristaCare determined to regain his strength and independence. With dedication, hard work, and the support of our incredible therapy team, he made remarkable progress — walking independently and performing all his daily activities once again! 🙌

✨ Rehab Success Spotlight! ✨

Meet Mr. Green, a 77-year-old who came to AristaCare after a fall and previous history of stroke left him unable to walk and in need of extensive assistance for even the simplest daily activities.

With determination and the dedicated support of our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, Mr. Green made incredible progress!

💪 Today, he’s walking up to 60 feet with a hemi walker, completing daily tasks more independently, and proudly sharing:
👉 “Thanks to everyone I am now doing better!”

We were deeply inspired reading about Sheila Tison, who is retiring after an incredible 45-year career in nursing at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay. Over the decades, Sheila cared for patients through Hurricane Michael, COVID-19, and countless hospital transitions—while also mentoring generations of nurses who proudly call themselves “Sheila’s babies.”

At AristaCare, we know firsthand how rare and remarkable it is for someone to dedicate their life to this profession. Sheila’s story is a beautiful reminder of the heart, resilience, and humanity that define nursing.

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible journey of Ms. Roselie Sinfleur! 💪

At 76 years young, Ms. Sinfleur came to us needing significant assistance with daily activities and mobility. Through weeks of dedicated Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, she worked tirelessly and made tremendous progress.

Today, she’s walking independently, climbing stairs, and heading home as a brand-new person. 🙌 Her determination, paired with the support of our amazing rehab team, made this transformation possible.

Ms. Sinfleur shared with joy: “I am going home as a brand-new person. Thank you to Rehab staff! I will miss you all!” 💖

Like so many, we were deeply moved by ’s recent openness about the realities of caregiving for her husband, Bruce Willis. Her courage in sharing her family’s story shines a light on the guilt, judgment, and difficult choices caregivers face every single day.

At AristaCare, we see these same struggles in the families who trust us with their loved ones through our Nostalgia Park memory care program. Choosing care for a loved one is not giving up—it is an act of love, and one of the bravest decisions a family can make to ensure safety, dignity, and compassion.

❤️ Cardiac Rehab Success: Mr. Cardona ❤️

At 83 years old, Mr. Cardona came to AristaCare at Norwood Terrace after being hospitalized with chest pain and undergoing bypass surgery. When he first arrived, he required oxygen, used a wheelchair for mobility, and needed help with his daily activities.

With determination and the support of our dedicated Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, Mr. Cardona worked on endurance, balance, and activity tolerance. 💪 Within weeks, he made an incredible transformation—walking independently, performing all his daily tasks on his own, and no longer needing oxygen! 🙌

His words say it all:
“I am really thankful to all the staff for the care I received here.” 💙
