💪✨ Rehab Success Spotlight: Ms. Barco ✨💪

At 88 years young, Ms. Barco came to us after a fall caused by weakness, dizziness, and balance issues.

She arrived needing a wheelchair and extensive assistance with daily activities—but she came in with hope, determination, and a smile, already familiar with our team from a prior stay. 💙

With hard work and commitment, Ms. Viola participated fully in therapy and achieved every goal set for her.

Today, she’s heading home independent, walking confidently with just a rollator! 🙌

On discharge day, her words meant everything to us:
💬 “You guys are God sent! If I ever have to come back, I will always select this facility—you have the best Therapy Department!”

💪🎉 Rehab Success at AristaCare 🎉💪

Meet Kimberly—proof that hard work, heart, and the right support make all the difference.

Kimberly came to us after surgery with complications that left her unable to bear weight on her right leg. She needed extensive help with daily tasks, transfers, and mobility, and used a wheelchair to get around. Through dedication and determination—and with the support of our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams—Kimberly worked on strengthening, balance, pain management, and gait training every step of the way.

In just a few weeks, she reached her goal and was discharged home completely independent—just like she was before. Her discharge day was filled with hugs, happy tears, and gratitude.

✊🏾🎂 Honoring Dr. King at Norwood Terrace 🎂✊🏾

Our Norwood Terrace residents had a beautiful day celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc. – Imani Kuumba Graduate Chapter.

The afternoon was filled with meaningful moments—
✨ Reflections on Dr. King’s life
🎤 Narration of “I Have a Dream”
🎶 Music, sing-alongs, and soul-filled classics
🧠 A fun and engaging Dr. King trivia game
🎁 Gift distribution and group photos to wrap it all up

Our residents loved learning, laughing, singing, and sharing stories throughout the event. It was the perfect mix of education, celebration, and community.

Thank you to Swing Phi Swing Social and the Imani Kuumba Graduate Chapter for making this such a special day for our residents and helping us honor Dr. King’s powerful legacy.

We were so blessed to welcome Movement of Purpose into our building as they shared the true spirit of the season by gifting 100 presents to our residents 🎄❤️

Movement of Purpose is a team dedicated to serving others through missions of giving—from toy drives and Easter egg hunts to community cookouts, clothing distributions, Thanksgiving outreach, and now bringing Christmas cheer to nursing homes.

We’re especially grateful to the Cardosa team, who joined us again this Christmas to help make our residents feel loved, remembered, and celebrated. Moments like these remind us what the holidays are really about.
