🎉 Rehab Success at AristaCare at Norwood Terrace! 🎉

After a serious motor vehicle accident left Mr. Smith with multiple injuries and limited mobility, he came to us determined to heal. Through dedicated Physical and Occupational Therapy—including gait training, balance work, and ADL retraining—Mr. Smith made incredible strides. After facing complicated medical challenges and arriving unable to walk, Mr. Twine was determined to regain his independence—and he did just that!

Through weeks of hard work with our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, he built up his strength, balance, and confidence. By discharge day, he was walking on his own again, ready to head home fully independent—just as he hoped. 💪🏾

💪🏽✨ Rehab Success Spotlight: Ms. Metner

At 90 years old, Ms. Metner came to AristaCare at Norwood Terrace after a hospitalization due to severe respiratory distress. Upon arrival, she required oxygen support, wheelchair mobility, and extensive assistance for daily tasks.

Through the dedicated care of our Physical and Occupational Therapists, Ms. Metner underwent vigorous therapy focused on strength, endurance, balance, and task training. Within just a few weeks, she made tremendous progress and was discharged home walking and transferring independently! 🏡💙

Meet Ms. Ortega, a proud member of our Latino Program, who came to AristaCare after undergoing triple heart bypass surgery. At 76 years young, she arrived with severe weakness, needing a Hoyer lift just to get out of bed. Even basic tasks like dressing and toileting were exhausting and required extensive help.But with determination and the support of our incredible Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, Ms. Ortega made an amazing transformation! 💪✨Within just a few months, she:✅ Regained her strength✅ Became fully independent with all ADLs✅ Walked on her own again✅ Conquered 12 stairs — solo! 🏃‍♀️🏅On discharge day, she was brought to tears, overwhelmed with gratitude for the care and compassion she received.
