We’re thrilled to welcome Maria Tito as our new Regional Cardiac Technician! With a decorated background as a Medical Technician in the Air Force Reserve and years of hands-on experience in cardiac care and emergency response, Maria brings the perfect mix of expertise, innovation, and heart.

Our Cardiac Boot Camp is designed to provide advanced, structured cardiac rehab support within the skilled nursing setting—focusing on early intervention, close monitoring, and a smoother road to recovery. With Maria’s leadership and clinical knowledge, we’re confident our program will reach even greater heights and continue to set the standard for post-acute cardiac care.

✨🙌 Rehab Success Spotlight: Mr. Twine! 🙌✨

After facing complicated medical challenges and arriving unable to walk, Mr. Twine was determined to regain his independence—and he did just that!

Through weeks of hard work with our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, he built up his strength, balance, and confidence. By discharge day, he was walking on his own again, ready to head home fully independent—just as he hoped. 💪🏾

Before leaving, he shared:
“Thank you all for your efforts and support. I will miss you all!”

We were proud to host a special appreciation event for our First Responders, celebrating their unwavering dedication and service to our community.

It was an honor to be joined by Assemblywoman Linda Carter, Plainfield Mayor Adrian Mapp, and the Mayor of North Plainfield, who all came out to support and recognize the incredible work of our EMS, fire, and police departments.

From heartfelt conversations to shared gratitude, it was a powerful reminder of the strength in community and collaboration. 💪🏽🏡

💪🏽✨ Rehab Success Spotlight: Ms. Metner

At 90 years old, Ms. Metner came to AristaCare at Norwood Terrace after a hospitalization due to severe respiratory distress. Upon arrival, she required oxygen support, wheelchair mobility, and extensive assistance for daily tasks.

Through the dedicated care of our Physical and Occupational Therapists, Ms. Metner underwent vigorous therapy focused on strength, endurance, balance, and task training. Within just a few weeks, she made tremendous progress and was discharged home walking and transferring independently! 🏡💙

Her words say it all:
“I am satisfied with all the services and am thankful to you all for helping me get better!”

🎓✨ Rehab Success Story: Mr. Sergio

We’re proud to highlight Mr. Sergio, a 79-year-old who came to AristaCare after hospitalization with severe balance issues, weakness, and difficulty walking.

Meet Ms. Ortega, a proud member of our Latino Program, who came to AristaCare after undergoing triple heart bypass surgery. At 76 years young, she arrived with severe weakness, needing a Hoyer lift just to get out of bed. Even basic tasks like dressing and toileting were exhausting and required extensive help.But with determination and the support of our incredible Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, Ms. Ortega made an amazing transformation! 💪✨Within just a few months, she:✅ Regained her strength✅ Became fully independent with all ADLs✅ Walked on her own again✅ Conquered 12 stairs — solo! 🏃‍♀️🏅On discharge day, she was brought to tears, overwhelmed with gratitude for the care and compassion she received.
