✨ Rehab Success Story Spotlight ✨

We’re so proud to celebrate the incredible progress of Ms. Antkiewicz 💙

Ms. June came to us following a hospitalization for a COPD exacerbation, experiencing significant weakness, shortness of breath, and difficulty walking even short distances. With the support of our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, she worked tirelessly to rebuild her strength, improve endurance, and increase her independence.

Through consistent therapy and determination, Ms. June made tremendous progress and was discharged to an Assisted Living Facility—walking with a walker and independently managing her daily activities with confidence 🙌

On her day of discharge, she shared:
“I am so happy to be discharged. I want to thank everyone for all the help!”

Through determination, encouragement, and the dedication of our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, everything changed.

With consistent therapy focused on strength, endurance, and balance, Ms. Booker made remarkable progress in just a few short weeks. She regained her confidence, improved her mobility, and was able to return home completely independent 🙌

On her day of discharge, she shared, “I will really miss you all. Thank you for helping me get better.”

We’re proud to share the incredible progress of Mr. Sutton Claude here at AristaCare at Norwood Terrace.

Mr. Sutton came to us with a complex medical history and significant mobility challenges. At admission, he required extensive assistance for transfers, walking, and daily activities. Through determination, consistency, and the dedication of our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, his progress has been nothing short of remarkable. 💪🏽

Today, Mr. Sutton is walking up to 100 feet with a rolling walker, navigating stairs with supervision, and regaining confidence in his independence. Each step forward reflects his hard work—and the commitment of our care team to helping residents reach their goals.

✨ Rehab Success Spotlight! ✨

We’re so excited to celebrate Mr. Stevens and his incredible progress here at AristaCare at Norwood Terrace!

After being admitted to the hospital with severe bilateral lower-extremity wounds and undergoing a toe amputation, Mr. Stevens came to us needing extensive support. He arrived with significant pain, weakness, and difficulty walking — relying on a wheelchair for mobility.

But with hard work, determination, and the dedication of our amazing Physical and Occupational Therapy teams, he made remarkable progress. 💪🏽

Today, Mr. Stevens is walking independently, standing tall with the help of a custom back brace our team coordinated, and returning home stronger than ever. His words say it all:
“You have helped me a lot and I will miss you all! I will come and visit you all soon as a visitor.”

We’re so proud of you, Mr. Stevens! 💙

☕🥐 Java & Pastry Pop-Up at Daluca’s Café!

Last Friday, we teamed up with Daluca’s Café in Dunellen to spread a little morning cheer!

We gave out free coffee and pastries to patrons as a thank-you to the community and to remind everyone that AristaCare is always here to support our neighbors. 🤍

It was such a sweet way to start the day — great conversations, warm smiles, and so much gratitude from everyone who stopped by.

👮‍♂️✨ Bingo With the Blue! ✨👮‍♀️

We had such a fun and heartwarming day as the Plainfield Police Department stopped by to play bingo with our residents! 🎉🧡

The room was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful conversations. Our residents LOVED having the officers join in — and we’re so grateful for the moments of connection and community they helped create.

A huge thank you to the Plainfield PD for taking the time to spread joy and spend the afternoon with us. We can’t wait to do it again! 💙
