Our team attended continuing education classes in Schaumburg, IL, over the weekend. While Dr. Boots acquired the latest knowledge in OCT Interpreting, Glaucoma Management, and other relevant topics, the rest of us gained insights into the products we dispense, efficient scheduling, and the fundamentals of optics and prescriptions.
We also enjoyed some socializing, drinks and catching up with our good friend and colleague-Dr. Berkshire.

Are you aware that three Vision Care Group team members have achieved Certified Paraoptometric status? What does it mean to be a Certified Paraoptometric? These individuals invested considerable time studying for a rigorous written exam that encompassed anatomy, clinical procedures, contact lens design, optical fitting of glasses, and more. To maintain their certification, they participate in continuing education courses, often during their personal time, to recertify every three years. We are very proud of their commitment to providing up-to-date vision care for our patients.
