Loads of tight shoulders/necks and stuck lymph coming across my therapy table. Friendly reminder, even though we are cold, we still need to move. HAS Fit has a great seated exercise for those (raise my own hand) who just don't want to get off the couch.

As the weather turns we often forget to drink water in favor of warm drink. Consider hot water lemon and honey as a great source of vitamin c natural antibiotics for immune boost in cold season.

Did you know lavender oil is also good for allergy season? Also, lemon grass oil (or the plant) is a great alternative to citronella for mosquito repellant.

While I am not running a massage special, I am also not raising my rate in 2023. Merry Christmas!

At the pool swimming laps with my hubs a person sharing the lane was stretching. after about a half hour we all found ourselves in the hot tub recovering. We struck up a convo and long story short. I found myself explaining the differences between PT and Chiropractors in how they address pain. MD and DC all learn the same things about the body and basic life saving techniques. They deviate in treatment. Chiros can show exercises but PTs focus on that. Chiros focus on the alignment being key to correct function so that blood, nerve and lymph can flow from the spine as freely as possible. Adding in nutrition/vitamin/ herbs and other physical modalities. MDs know many of these things too but will refer to PT, drugs or surgeons. I may have over simplified, but I think that’s the gist of it. I did not hand out my card or anything. It was simply an informative convo. I was able to give some feed back as to why certain stretches seemed to relieve low back pain better than others. In the end I recommended that he find a PT who had a spinal decompression table. And that my chiro was pretty great and gave him that name. My chiro focuses on activator and is very busy with that. Wish we could find staff to help with more massage and run a decompression table. It’s an amazing tool. Closest I come to that is stretching clients, myofascial release and cupping.

Hello clients and friends! I am back from maternity leave. Trying to keep appointments to Fridays and Saturdays. But if we really can’t make that work, I have some availability for Monday afternoon and occasional Wednesday evenings.
