February GROW
What a month we had at GROW! We got to do some awesome things!
We made some new friends at A Senior Retreat, Adult Day Services who allowed us to volunteer with them. It was so much fun they want us to come back next month and we can’t wait!!!
Huge shout out to Knead the Dough Bakery, LLC for giving us the grand tour. They really rolled out the red carpet and gave our group a great experience. We learned how they make their award winning donuts, answered every question we could possibly think of, and we even got to try our hands at a little cupcake decorating.
As always Rascal's Fun Zone was a blast. Their staff are top notch, the facility is always squeaky clean, and per usual it was so much fun!
Combat Ops Entertainment was a total hit! Our groups can’t wait to go back and try out some of the other things they have to offer. Their staff are wonderful and really added to the experience.
Club Connect came for a day and taught us how to do a fun Valentines craft. We made decorations for the Sweet Heart Dance that was Sponsored by Arrow Services Indiana
We did some firsts this month from visiting new places, experiencing new things, learning new recipes, crafting, and meeting new friends!
March has just as much fun to offer! We have Skill Speakers set up including one of our GROW individuals will be teaching us a new skill. New activities, crafts, games, and outings all picked by our GROW groups.
