At Healing Connections Counseling, PC we believe that relationships are the basis of a healthy, emotionally fulfilling life. We emphasize the importance of relationships among family members, peers, and between the therapist and the client. Research has shown that healthy relationships can help us cope with difficult situations, build our emotional resiliency and help our brains heal from trauma. At HCC we provide therapy that is based on a strong alliance between the therapist and the client. Then, and only then can we make the positive changes we wish to see in our lives and the lives of our children. Our practice offers individual and group therapy for adults, adolescents and children. We offer social skills groups for children with difficulties in social/emotional communication, attention, and nonverbal communication skills. We also offer therapy groups for adolescents with depression and anxiety.
