Sono-HSG or an ultrasonographic-hysterosalpingogram is a procedure performed to test for occlusions in the Fallopian tubes and occasionally could be therapeutic by opening minor blockages in the tubes.
-Simple procedure done in the office and takes a few minutes from start to end.
-often times associated with less discomfort compared to hospital HSG’s done under X-ray!
-NOW AVAILABLE to patients undergoing infertility work up or whenever there may be concern for tubal factor infertility!

We at CWHNEPA are proud to introduce our newest service; the IV Hydration & Anti-Emetic Therapy program!
Now available to patients dealing with:
-Hyperemesis or Nausea/Vomiting in early pregnancy
-Gastroenteritis (stomach flu) symptoms
-Post-operative nausea
-Any other conditions resulting in dehydration

Practice Update:
Dear patients; we wanted to share that our clinic is open and back in service! Although we are running on about 60% of our normal space capacity but continuing to do our best to schdule patient appointments and provide fast and effective patient care 😊
We are currently using the door in the back of the building where the parking lot is as a temporary entrance to the clinic. For anyone having trouble with directions; please feel free to call the office at 570-212-9116 and the staff will happily guide you. We’d like to thank you all for your patience and understanding. Please pardon our clinic’s appearance and any noise as we get the front area reconstructed from the water damages.

Dear patients, staff and vendors; our office will be closed tomorrow: Monday 2/15/2026 due to an unfortunate flooding that has affected the first floor of our building earlier today.
Our landlord, service teams as well as our staff are working diligently to help resolve the issue promptly and restore a clean and safe work environment to continue providing care and business as usual.
Patients scheduled for tomorrow have already been contacted and we will continue updating all patients through out the week to assist with rescheduling as needed. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you all for your patience! 😊

Our hearts and prayers go out to all our colleagues, staff members and patients affected by this horrifying event that occurred last night at the hospital in Dickson city! Really hits home and reminds us how fragile life can be. So glad everyone was alright and moved to safety!

We at CWHNEPA are beyond excited to welcome Donna McCarthy CRNP, FNP-C as our newest provider!

Donna earned her nursing degree from Penn State University and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Wilkes University. She provides comprehensive women's health care for women of all ages, combining evidence-based practice with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Donna is dedicated to empowering her patients through education and individualized care, ensuring every woman feels heard, informed, and confident in her health decisions. A native of Clarks Summit area in PA; outside of the clinical world; she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, staying active outdoors, and supporting her community.
Donna will start seeing patients in March 2026! Welcome aboard and to the CWHNEPA family!! 😊

Given current weather conditions ❄️❄️❄️ our office will be closed TOMORROW- Monday 1/26/26.
Phones will be working regular business hours (8:30am-5:00pm) to help our patients and anyone needing assistance.
Office hours resume on Tuesday the following day @ 9am.

With the new year being a time many patients may experience a renewal or change in their health insurance policy that usually comes along with changes in their covered provider networks, deductibles and copays; we wanted to introduce the ‘SAVINGS CARE CARD’. A savings package available for CWHNEPA established and new patients as a secondary option to establish or continue care through our office with efficient access and affordability.

Patients who maybe eligible for the savings care card include:
-anyone without active health insurance wishing to receive or continue their care with CWHNEPA
-anyone with health insurance we do not participate with at CWHNEPA
-anyone with accepted insurance whose policy includes high deductibles or copays and wishes to explore alternate options

We at CWHNEPA continue our commitment to patient care and strive to provide more and hopefully better options for patient access and affordable care!

As November almost comes to an end and we approach the holiday season; we are reminded of the importance of always being grateful and giving back to our communities! This year at CWHNEPA we had decided to donate a few grocery gift cards to families and community members who may be in need as a form of modest contribution to the joy and blessing of Thanksgiving!

This is group effort and we invite our group members residing in NEPA to help us with suggestions! Anyone you may know who you believe is in need or maybe struggling to put food on the table this holiday; please connect and message us privately. (We won’t ask for any personal information about recipients; all we’ll need is a mailing address to send 🎁 to)

We thank everyone in advance for any assistance and invite other clinics and local businesses in NEPA to join ‘the cause’ and carry a good deed forward to their community as well 😊🙏🏼
