When they're not working at the hospital, these employees of Penn Medicine Princeton Health are working on their set list.

After seeing each other perform at an employee talent show in 2019, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Craig Gronczewski, Dr. David Barile, Dr. Jasmeet Bajaj, Dr. Gabe Smolarz, Dr. Kevin Skole, and director of Spiritual Care and Well Being Samuel Yenn-Batah, decided to form a group called Full Code, managed by lab courier Alan Stefanowicz.

“That’s what is unique about the band,” said Barile. “We’re all in different fields of medicine, but our interests in music are all varied as well, so we bring different kinds of spice to the band.”

A BIG Thank You to the Eliza J. Cekirge Foundation who for the 3rd year in a row has hosted a fundraising event benefitting the Princeton Medical Center Eating Disorders Unit. This successful event raised $10,000.

Dr. Rebecca Boswell, Director for Princeton Center for Eating Disorders shared how funds from last years' fundraiser were used.
"We were able to buy clean clothes for patients with limited means, build a free stock of gender-affirming care items for transgender and gender nonconforming patients, and complete monthly seasonal food exposures. We also started a clinical research project using neuropsychiatric assessment of changes in cognition during malnutrition. The Eating Disorders team is really grateful for the opportunity to provide these resources and share new knowledge about eating disorders."

Donations of all sizes make a big difference for patients and families.
