5 Tips to maintaining a healthy relationship:
1. Always make time to talk about how your day went.
2. Understand that there is such a thing as a good argument.
3. It is important to express and hear each other's feelings.
4. Don’t forget to maintain the little niceties, such as saying “please” and “thank you” and generally show respect and gratitude for your partner.
5. Do not assume your partner will automatically know your feelings.

Great things to say to yourself!

I know I am feeling anxious right now, let's see what I can do about it.
One step at a time: I can handle this situation.
This anxiety is normal, now what can I do about it?
It's a reminder to use my coping exercises.
Relax. I'm in control. Take a slow, deep breath.
What have I done in the past to successfully deal with this?
I've gotten through this kind of thing before.
It will be over shortly. It will feel much better in a few moments.
It's not the worst thing that can happen.
