PROFESSIONAL BACKROUND
Dr. Todd A. Dr. Levenstien received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the prestigious Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Levenstien completed his surgical residency-training program at the world renowned Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). News & World Report has consistently ranked MGH as one of the top five best hospitals in the United States of America. Dr. Levenstien’s hard work ethic, impressive surgical skills, and excellent rapport with the patients, earned him the position of chief resident.
Dr. Levenstien has brought his world class training to Long Island. Therefore, it is no longer necessary to travel into Manhattan in order to see the most highly skilled doctors. Dr. Levenstien has been conservatively and surgically trained to treat all foot and ankle conditions. Whereas most podiatrists only treat skin or toe nail related conditions, Dr. Levenstien has been specially trained to treat bone, joint, nerve, ligament, tendon, and joint issues. He treats professional athletes, everyday people, and children. Dr. Levenstien specializes in foot reconstructive procedures, including but not limited to the following conditions: correction of bunion deformities, fracture reduction, removal of soft tissue mass, tendon repair, plantar fascia repair, neuroma excision, ankle ligament repair, sport injuries, and reconstructive surgery for those with severe arthritis.
