📢 Official update on the NYS budget from ACTS:

- A 5% increase for in-person Early Intervention services was approved, but it may take 3 to 6 months for implementation.
- The 4% rural/underserved increase will be effective from 4/1/2025, with eligibility based on specific zip codes.
- Three devastating administrative proposals remain, including limiting ABA sessions, reducing telehealth rates, and shrinking group sizes.
- School Psychologists will be phased out by 6/30/24, affecting staffing in EI.
- Despite the rate increase, concerns remain due to proposed cuts and changes.
