Meet The Team! ✨ With over 25 years of experience in skilled nursing, Brianne Dowdican, RN, DNS brings deep clinical expertise, strong leadership, and a lifelong dedication to patient care. She began her nursing career as an LPN on a high-acuity ventilator unit where she developed a foundation in complex patient care. Driven to advance her skills, Brianne returned to school and earned her Registered Nurse degree and quickly took on leadership roles across the continuum of long-term care.
Since obtaining her RN degree, Brianne has served as a Nursing Supervisor, Director of Inservce Education, and Assistant Director of Nursing. She now serves as Director of Nursing Services at Central Island Healthcare where she leads with compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to clinical excellence and staff development.
Brianne’s Administrator stated “Brianne is the best of the best! She is always available for the residents, families and staff creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and teamwork. She is a natural teacher sharing her clinical expertise with the staff and leading by example. Under Brianne’s leadership, clinical outcomes have been excellent and customer service is the best it has ever been at Central Island.
