Meet Ivan, our first baby delivered at Covenant Hospital Plainview in 2026! 💙

Delivered by Dr. Lauren Swartz, Ivan arrived at 11:31 p.m. on January 2nd, weighing 8 lbs 2 oz and measuring 20.5 inches long. His mother, Kassandra, is thrilled to welcome him to the world as her first baby. What a happy beginning to the new year!

ACOG reaffirms the safety and benefits of acetaminophen use during pregnancy.
More than two decades of research have found no causal link between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability in children. Acetaminophen continues to be an important and safe option for managing pain and fever in pregnancy—conditions that can pose serious risks to pregnant patients and their fetuses if left untreated. Each birth was unique and powerful, and each reminded me why I love this work so much.

We doulas are honored every time a family invites us into their story—and we never take that trust lightly.

I may be running on little sleep, but my heart is completely full. 💕 I’m grateful for this calling, for the strength of birthing people, for nurses who pour their hearts into their work, for doctors who care, respect, and listen—and for the beauty of life itself.
