Waypoints Counseling, providing hope for our community.

Hello & thanks for visiting this page! I am Erin E. Evanson-Lass, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Board-Approved Supervisor. I have the privilege of working with adults, families, children and individuals, ages 6 and up. If you find that you’re experiencing difficulty with this thing we call “life,” perhaps I can help. Together we can work to navigate the rough waters this world can often dish out.

I have been practicing in the mental health field since 2011 and have experience working with children and families encountering a wide variety of issues including, but not limited to, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders and dual diagnoses – substance use disorders that co-occur with other mental disorders, specifically with adolescents. Additionally, I have proficiency with adults along with their families surrounding grief work and preparing for end-of-life.

I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Solutions-Focused Therapy. I am currently providing EMDR Therapy as well, under supervision.

I received my undergraduate degree from Kansas State University in 2007 and my Master of Social Work Degree from Washburn University in 2010. I am also a veteran, and served in the United States Army for 5 years with deployments to Iraq and Honduras.
