A mini-documentary is going to include footage from SVJ Creative Designs in Kellogg! David and Shelly Speedling produce amazing work and it will be fun to see their art showcased in a short film. It will be released on fb by Black Box Safety so give that company a like and a follow.

The Crossings Center is researching the past of our facility and the amazing history of Emil E Gremelsbach for a documentary. We are seeking information on two area men that traveled to Greece after WWII with Gremelsbach cattle. The animals would prove to be a major factor in rebuilding the herd in Europe after the devastation of WWII. The names we have are BEN LUHMAN and ED BOLLMAN. A few shots from Saturday's film shoot, the weather was little gloomy, but we got er done! Thanks to all involved in production, especially A.J., Copper, Toby, and Jackie "Literally, the real horses of the Production" They all got the Hollywood treatment!

Some shots at the tractor games today in Plainview, Luna the cow traded some apples for her milk! A surge bucket pulsating off the manifold was something i had never saw until today! Couple of operators with Green Prairie showed their skill on the balance beam, tricky stuff!

Ben, Jack and I had a blast at Green Prairie today, it was a pleasure speaking with all the residents and staff! Big thank you to Green Prairie Iron for organizing and bringing some great tractors that unlocked many fond memories and stories! Hopefully we captured some good footage for upcoming video!

I had a great day in Apple Valley with Brian and Jennifer! Brian and I got the thinking part done while Jennifer was finding rope, only concern she had was if the I-Bolts in ceiling would hold 500lbs. This is hillbilly testing!, put two guys over 230 on the edges and cram a string bean at a buck fifteen in the middle! We are engineering geniuses, though the look on Jennifer's face might say different!!! Jennifer has to find a cushion for bench, will update final look then!

Great afternoon getting a wedding platform set up for Riley and Morgans upcoming nuptials this saturday, The girls have to decorate up tomorrow. I tried to get Jack to practice up on his minister skills, but flames erupted from the altar and we had to stop, odd! Hoping for rain-free Saturday, keep smiling Riley and Morgan, will be a great day!

Putting finishing touches on an outdoor bar project. We were looking for some unique bar stools that fit the decor. We love the look and patina of old cast iron, so our search led us to Kevin Whetstone, the owner of Wettrock Casting. Kevin uses traditional casting techniques and the results are stunning. I like the concept of floating on swing arm stools! We enjoy meeting new craftsmen and incorporating their style into our reclaimed looks. Thanks Kevin, and look forward to the next project

Thank you to Rhonda Schell for asking Barndogglers to make the frame for her painting at the Lewiston Vet Clinic, the lobby was a busy place when installing, lot of animal traffic!! Is a sure sign that these gals and all the doctors at the Lewiston Vet Clinic are best in show!! FYI, Rhonda is young lady in the middle, thanks again from the Barndogglers.

A shout out to Melissa Ozment for perfectly capturing the 1937 John Deere logo for an outdoor bar project, all freehand, no damn stencil! To cap it off the tin canvas used for the image was salvaged out of a 1950's air stream trailer, thanks DeNay Kelly for not throwing away! I really enjoy incorporating retro advertising to help establish a unique look.
