Let’s talk about what pelvic floor therapy actually involves, and why it matters.

Many women quietly deal with symptoms like leaking, pain, or pelvic pressure; sometimes for years. But these symptoms often get worse over time, and you don’t have to live with them.

Muscle exercises (like Kegels-but guided and specific)

Internal manual therapy to relieve pain or tension

At Rooks County Health Center, caring for our patients doesn’t end when you leave our doors. We understand that the last step of your care journey, paying your bill, can sometimes feel stressful, and we want to make it easier for you.

That’s why we are happy to share a new option to help manage your medical expenses. RCH has partnered with PayZen, a financing program that offers personalized, no-interest payment plans designed with our patients in mind.

Please welcome our newest Occupational Therapist Ali Nuttle. She will be joining us as a PRN employee.

Ali graduated with her Masters of Occupational Therapy from KU Medical Center. She enjoys working with all ages of clients but especially enjoys working with stroke clients to help them achieve their goals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, and camping.

Medicare Scam Alert in Plainville

This morning, a scammer spoofed the Rooks County Health Center phone number and called a community member. The caller claimed the person had been “selected” to receive a swab kit because of their diagnosis. They insisted it was offered through Medicare.

What you need to know:

• Scammers are pretending to be from local hospitals, doctors, or Medicare.
• They may use technology to make their call look like it is coming from Rooks County Health Center.
• They offer “free” test kits and ask for your Medicare number or personal details.
• With that information, they can fraudulently bill Medicare for thousands of dollars, and you could end up with the bill.

Rooks County Health Center will never call and ask you to take part in free giveaways or mailed swab kits.
If you get a call like this, do not give out your Medicare number or personal information. Hang up immediately.
Please share this warning with friends and family, especially those with Medicare, so no one falls victim to this scam.

On Monday, the Rooks County Cancer Council was blessed to receive an incredible $8,500 donation from Kambree Benoit and her family!

Kambree donated her grand champion bucket calf from last year to be raffled off, and then presented all of the proceeds to the Cancer Council. We are so proud of this young lady’s generous heart and the example she sets for our community.

Pictured here with Kambree are her sister Karlyn, brother Kyzer, parents Kyle and Justine Benoit, grandparents Don and Sandy Benoit, along with Rooks County Healthcare Foundation members Kathy Ramsay, Donna Brown, Linda Rudman, Director Samantha Pfannenstiel, Emily Holloway, and President Carson LeMarr.

You will receive the same level of car and same friendly support as a "regular" office visit!
