RED/NIR LIGHT THERAPY PRICING
20-Minute Session Add-on $20— The maximum recommended dose of Red & Near Infrared light therapy is 20 minutes (your cells can only absorb so much light). Beyond that, there is evidence to suggest Biphasic dose response. In fact, too much can eliminate the benefits. There are a few contradictions with red light therapy so we will discuss if this therapy is right for you at your session!!
Why should I add-on Red Light Therapy to my massage session?
Combining red light therapy with massage can offer several enhanced benefits for overall health and well-being. Here are the key advantages:
1. Improved Muscle Recovery and Pain Relief
•Red light therapy stimulates cellular repair by increasing ATP production, which helps speed up muscle recovery and reduce inflammation.
•When paired with massage, the increased blood flow from the massage complements the healing effects of red light, further easing soreness and tension.
2. Enhanced Circulation
•Both therapies boost circulation. Red light penetrates the skin, improving blood flow at a cellular level, while massage stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation. Together, they enhance nutrient delivery and toxin removal.
3. Reduced Inflammation
•Red light therapy reduces inflammation by targeting oxidative stress in cells. Massage also decreases inflammation by promoting relaxation and releasing tight tissues.
4. Improved Skin Health
•Red light stimulates collagen and elastin production, improving skin tone and texture. Combined with massage, which enhances lymphatic drainage, it can help reduce puffiness and promote glowing skin.
5. Stress and Anxiety Relief
•Massage is well-known for its calming effects, reducing cortisol levels and promoting relaxation. Red light therapy can further support mental well-being by enhancing cellular energy and reducing inflammation associated with stress.
6. Increased Flexibility and Mobility
•Red light therapy aids tissue repair, while massage releases tension in muscles and fascia. This combination can enhance joint mobility and flexibility.
7. Accelerated Healing for Injuries
•For those recovering from injuries, red light therapy promotes faster healing by improving cellular function. Massage reduces scar tissue and adhesions, complementing the recovery process.
8. Enhanced Sleep Quality
•Red light therapy has been linked to better sleep by supporting melatonin production and reducing muscle tension. Massage’s relaxation effects amplify this benefit, leading to deeper, more restorative sleep.
9. Customizable and Synergistic Effects
•Both therapies can be tailored to individual needs. For example, red light wavelengths can be adjusted for deeper or surface-level benefits, while massage techniques can target specific areas of discomfort.
By combining these therapies, you can maximize their therapeutic potential, addressing both physical and mental well-being holistically.
