Manual therapies include: osteopathic muscle energy, PNF soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, myofascial and trigger point release, mobilization with movement, cranio-sacral treatment, and visceral mobilization. Exercise approaches include: Core stabilization, gym machines, osteoporosis exercise, safe stretches, yoga, Tai Chi, and Chi Gong therapy. Necessary equipment for best results include Spinomed bracing for osteoporotic vertebral fractures, orthotics for foot problems such as plantar fascitis, and much more, depending on the needs of the individual patient.

What is Fascia?
Fascia is a continuous, web-like connective tissue network that wraps and supports every structure in the body, from muscles, bones, and organs to nerves and blood vessels, acting as the body’s internal framework for support, movement, and sensation. Made of collagen and water, it’s designed to slide and glide, but can become tight and sticky, restricting movement and causing pain.

What emotions are trapped in Fascia?
Fascia stores patterns of stress, trauma, and intense emotions like fear, anger, grief, anxiety, and shame, not as specific feelings, but as physical restrictions, tension, and adhesions that create protective postures, locking these experiences into the body’s tissues. When emotions aren’t processed, they become “stuck,” manifesting as chronic pain, stiffness, fatigue, and restricted movement, often in areas like the shoulders, neck, and hips.

What are Fascial Maneuvers?
Fascial Maneuvers are self-guided, gentle movements combined with deep breathing and focused intention designed to release tension, trauma, and stress stored in the body’s connective tissue (fascia). Developed by Human Garage, these techniques aim to improve mobility, reduce chronic pain, and reset the nervous system, often providing quick relief from physical and emotional stagnation.
