Tonight's Adult Life Skills class the PARC Cafe! Everyone got to order, using a visual menu. The chef collected the menus then served the food. But...everyone got the wrong food? What to do? Our members had to speak up and advocate for themselves to correct meal! They did great, with lots of laughs and role play. THIS is what Adult Life Skills looks like at PARC!

What a day!!! Thank you so much to all who helped and donated to our Cindy Sunshine Campership Fund Can and Bottle Drive!! Our members and families worked hard and had a lot of fun. Extra special thanks to Fire and Iron Station 142 for making it happen - these guys worked so hard and gave a generous monetary donation as well. We are so grateful to our community!!

PARC provides recreational activities in an environment conducive to the development of independence while also providing education to the community. PARC promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes by providing family centered support, direct services, and advocacy.
