On Feb. 6, the Calvanese Foundation hosted a Valentine's Dance at the Aqua Turf Club. Some of our PARC members were happy to party the night away! Remember, save April 25 for the PARC Spring Dance at Testa's in Southington!

There are so many day-to-day skills that we all take for granted, but are really vital. Plenty of people can't so much as sew a button on a pair of jeans to mend them - we feel it's very important that our members are given the opportunity to learn basic skills to improve their lives. Recently, our adult life skills class spent a significant amount of time understanding the concept of sewing as well as working on their dexterity and hand-eye coordination. It's very very clear from smiles in these photos that our class participants are so proud of what they have learned to do!
