For many, money is still one of the most uncomfortable conversations we can have.

We’re taught to work hard, stay responsible, and take care of everyone else… but very few of us were ever taught how to feel safe, confident, and empowered in our relationship with money.

The truth is, money and wellbeing go hand in hand.

When our nervous system is constantly in pressure mode, it impacts how we earn, how we make decisions, and how we allow ourselves to receive…not to mention the stories and beliefs stored in our bodies.

That’s why Nic Caron Somatic Practitioner, Carolanne Caron, CPA, Anabelle Jacques, Holistic Nutritionist and I are coming together to host a unique one day retreat designed to explore money from a completely different perspective.

What a week! I’ve recommitted to myself and to consistency in all areas...and man it feels soooo good to be back. Didn’t miss a workout this week, focused on my 30-60-90 IYKYK, focused on personal practices that feel good and areas in my business that also felt like a breath of fresh air 😉.

I had a client come in this week for her third session and the shifts she shared honestly gave me goosebumps.🥳

When the nervous system begins moving out of a chronic protective state, people start reconnecting with the signals coming from their bodies. They stop overriding themselves and begin responding instead.

Her body has begun to move out of constant bracing and I’m here for it and so is she.🙏🏼

For the past few sessions we’ve been working very gently with the nervous system…nothing forceful, nothing invasive. Simple practices that help the body remember safety:

• Breathwork
• Orienting
• Awareness without digging into stories
• Light body scanning
• Vagal toning
• Sound exposure
• War seeding
• Spinal Flow

Slow, steady, respectful work with the body.

And today she looked at me and said, “I don’t know what kind of voodoo you’re doing over here, but I like it.”🙌🏼😉

The truth is there’s no voodoo. There’s simply a deep respect for how the nervous system works and how the body releases what it has been holding when it finally feels safe enough to do so.

Watching people reconnect with themselves in this way never gets old.

It’s why I care so deeply about this work, and today felt like a big win.

The women who step into this work are often capable, driven, and used to carrying a lot for others.

But real expansion doesn’t come from pushing harder.

It comes from building the internal capacity to lead your life, your work, and your nervous system from a place of alignment instead of survival.

Most people think spinal issues start with an injury, but that’s rarely the whole story.

Our nervous system and spine are constantly responding to the way we live, move, and process life experiences.

Over time, stress and tension can build in the body and create what we call spinal blockages — areas where the nervous system becomes stuck in protection mode.

And these blockages don’t just come from physical strain.

They can begin in many ways. From the way we sit every day. From emotional pain we never fully processed. From chronic stress, trauma, fear, or even the environment we live in.  Dr. Bessel van der Kolk explains all of this in his book The Body Keeps The Score.

The beautiful thing is that the body is also incredibly intelligent and capable of releasing those patterns when given the right support.

Your body knows how to heal. Sometimes it just needs permission.

During a Spinal Flow session, we work with specific access points along the sacrum, spine, and cranium; points that communicate directly with the nervous system. As the system begins to shift out of stress and protection mode, the body often starts releasing stored tension.

That release can show up in many ways.

Sometimes it’s subtle… a deep breath, a softening in the body.

Other times the body begins to move, stretch, or unwind on its own.

This isn’t something the client is “trying” to do. It’s the body reorganizing and releasing patterns of stress that have often been held for years.

When it finally feels safe enough, it begins to do the work it has been waiting to do.

Healing isn’t something we force — it’s something we create the conditions for.

Every thought, movement, emotion, and healing signal travels through your nervous system. When stress, tension, or past experiences create blockages along the spine, that communication can become disrupted.

The nervous system is the master controller of the body.

Not the mind. Not willpower. Not discipline.

Every system in the body takes its cues from one place first:

Am I safe… or do I need to protect?
That single question determines:
* muscle tension or ease
* digestion or shutdown
* hormonal balance or depletion
* inflammation or repair
* clarity or fog

This is why so many people are “doing all the right things” and still not healing.
Insight without regulation changes very little, and regulation just for the sake of regulation also changes nothing! Tools without nervous system safety don’t stick. This is also why I don’t work in one modality. The body is not one dimensional, so healing can’t be either.

My approach is multi modality and nervous system led by design:

* Spinal Flow to restore communication through the spinal cord
* Somatic work to help the body complete stress responses
* Subtle nervous system cues that signal safety instead of force
* Emotional and energetic integration so the system doesn’t re brace

Nothing is random. Nothing is forced. Nothing is about pushing.

Each layer speaks to the same truth: when the nervous system shifts, everything downstream can change.

This work isn’t about fixing you. It’s about creating the conditions where your body no longer needs to stay on guard. That’s when pain softens. That’s when breath deepens. That’s when healing becomes sustainable instead of temporary.
