View from above 🔎 on a third metatarsal head avascular necrosis. Upon dissection the whole piece of cartilage showed not to be attached!

Bunionectomy with system.

This patient complained of pain while walking that also was starting to effect her knee.

On xray she needed a forefoot reconstruction with multiple procedures however she was reluctant. So we focused on the “first ray” and fixed her bunion and pain. Happy patient post op. Listening to patients is more important than making the sexiest post op xray.
