It's been two long weeks dad... miss you more now than ever .. I wonder where you are ? what your doing? have you taken your meds? are you exercising? lol 😂 I miss you. Coming back to US has been harder than I imagined but the love and support from hubby, kids, my coworkers, friends and community has truly given me the strength to put one foot ahead of the other. Thank you all for the flowers, light, hugs and most of all your presence during this time

This is my friend heather, who just won respiratory therapist of the year at Baylor Scott and White. She is compassionate, intelligent, hardworking and cares for the people when they are at their most vulnerable times of their lives while on mechanical ventilators. Today we Uplifted Heather at the spa and so proud of her caring heart.

To know her is to Love her. This is my client - a survivor, an uplifter, a mother, a nanny, a friend. We all have a bit of her in us. we lean on examples like her to show us we can get through the rough patches with a smile, our village, and our God. Her wish was to beat it and have her smile on with her skin glow. She achieved it all. Today we cheers her spirit and through this we reflect on what we all can do with a little faith, a little hope and a lot of love.
