Attending this CE presentation today was a wellspring of wisdom. Hearing from the author of “Getting Grief Right” was invaluable. Merging awareness of Polyvagal Theory in the grieving process for the client and therapist is a vital component to successfully maintaining safety in the therapeutic relationship.

Celebrating my new certification! This has been a fun endeavor and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the impact this framework and the skills in DBT can have on clients.

I’ll be partnering with Olive Branch Counseling to help co-lead their DBT Skills Class for Young Adults! This is a phenomenal addition to any client or individual who may be going through a tough time regulating and needs some additional coping skills to grow in!

Excited to continue developing further into the Gottman method with this training. It’s a hefty one so I’ll be busy learning for a while! Addiction is everywhere so having more tools and frameworks to operate from should be a great aid for the couples I work with now and for those in the future.
