While safe from most seasonal allergies, the summertime poses a threat specifically for those grass allergy sufferers. Here's your survival guide for how to manage those pesky grass allergies and what you can do to avoid an allergy while still getting some sun.
1. Sun allergies exist - so wear sunscreen and avoid too much sun exposure.
2. Grass pollen is typically high in summer, so stay off of fresh cut grass and put down a barrier between yourself and the ground, like a thick picnic blanket.
3. While on nature walks, avoid touching unknown plants.
4. Watch for signs of allergic reactions after using a new sunscreen or skin balm.
