That’s why having an Asthma Action Plan is so important! This personalized plan helps teachers, school nurses, and your child understand what to do if asthma symptoms flare up.

Tips for parents:

Share your child’s Asthma Action Plan with the school.
Make sure your child has quick-relief medication available if prescribed.
Remind them of their triggers and how to avoid them.
Schedule a check-in with your allergist/asthma specialist to update prescriptions before school starts.
