Michelle Di Paolo, PhD, LPC, NCC Mental, Emotional, Behavioral, and Psychophysical Therapeutic Services + End of Life Planning Another passion of mine is education.

My work incorporates a systemic-health (mind & body) approach to wellness as it applies to treating psychological disorders such as anxiety and depression as well as physiological concerns like chronic pain, sleep dysfunction, heart health, and other maladaptive systemic responses to poor stress management. Often, these maladies lead to dysfunction in our work, familial, and social lives. Incorporating psychoeducation into counseling on the detrimental effects of stress on health, especially on heart health, as well as importance of effective and enjoyable stress-management techniques is something, I feel, is invaluable for clients.

I haven't been around in a while but was excited to share the news of this recent pub! Proud of the work that was put into this, and worth noting that the honor of being published in a scientific journal is the culmination of literally years worth of work and minds coming together. It may be cheesy to say but this is what dedication, preservation, and a passion for learning looks like. As primarily a clinical provider, I miss research so much! Would love to get my hands into it again someday ✌️.
