I spent last week in the Chicago area at the annual IFS conference! Sadly, I barely took any pictures so this photo of my name tag will have to mark the occasion. It was an amazing few days of learning and connection. I was able to be with mentors, friends, and colleagues in this beautiful community that has impacted me in more ways than I can express. And, I was able to grow and learn through amazing workshops. My parts wish I had a photo of everyone I hugged, laughed with, and talked to at the conference! Regardless, I arrived home with a grateful and full heart.

I am not sure words can fully express the incredible honor and joy that the last 10 days have held for me. My friend and colleague, AC Seiple (.c.seiple) and I have had the deep privilege of spending over a year creating 2 retreats to hold sacred space to both laugh and cry with some incredible women who are doing the courageous work of exploring the depths of their souls as they seek deeper wholeness, emotionally and spiritually. After a year of planning, the vision of leading retreats in Scotland is coming to fruition! We have just completed the first of two incredible retreats and my heart could not be more full. What an incredible setting to invite a group of women grow, heal, and play! It is a joy to lead these Christian IFS retreats with .c.seiple. We are already talking about 2026!

Over the last couple of days, I had the privilege of assisting in presenting on IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy) at the Hope Together conference with my friends Kimberly Miller and Gaby Satarino. Kim’s book, Boundaries for Your Soul, is a wonderful resource on healing through the integration of IFS and Christianity. We had a wonderful time connecting with so many interested in this topic. And we had a lot of fun!
