A shout out to my mentors and the dentists who took a chance on me:

Parked at Dr. ET Boon Elementary School today while running at Dayspring Nature Preserve. Post-residency, I worked with Dr. Boon and Dr. Gary Noble. During the run, I took time to reflect on my good fortune of having these two as mentors. Both were dentists who highly valued care, compassion and community. Neither discouraged me from taking extra time to develop relationships even at the expense of running a little behind. As a baby dentist, they showed me how to create lasting bonds so patients knew that the care extended to them went beyond their mouths. Forever grateful that I was blessed to grow in my profession while working with Drs. Boon and Noble!
