As Texans, we stand together in times of need. Our hearts are with all Texans, and their families, who have been impacted by and lost loved ones during the devastating floods over the last two days. For many, what was to be a time of celebration turned into a time of survival and, for some, grief.

To our fellow Texans in Kerr, Burnet, San Saba, Travis, and Williamson counties, we are praying for immediate relief from the continuing torrential rains.

Lastly, we are forever grateful to all the first responders and volunteers risking their own lives to save others. ❤️

While digging up carrots today Pure Land Farm, I realized I was using same techniques I use to extract teeth. Unfortunately, one root tip broke! 🫤🤭

While I am a Mavs fan (minus Nico), I am from the state north of the Red River. My husband and I were eating lunch next door to Dr. Noble’s old office when we saw the images of the OKC bombing. So this image has been one of remembrance and pride for my home state this week!

The other day I saw a 90+ year old patient who basically had all her teeth—there were a couple of implants in there. I mentioned to her that I did not see patients in their 80s-90s with all their teeth when I first began practicing. Why? Today’s population has benefited from having fluoridated water. It is preventive dental healthcare.
