When people hear “early detection,” they often assume it means everything is fine — but early detection is really about finding breast cancer as early as possible, even before symptoms appear.

Screenings and follow-ups help doctors gather information, clarify what’s happening, and guide patients toward the right next steps. More information often means more options, and more personalized care.

Dr. Anglin believes education is a powerful part of breast cancer care. Understanding what early detection actually means can help reduce fear and empower patients to take an active role in their health.

Personalized care in breast cancer treatment means more than choosing a procedure; it means treating the whole person.

From diagnosis and surgical options to recovery planning and emotional support, every care plan is built around you: your health, your body, your goals, and your life. No two journeys look the same, and that’s why individualized care matters.

Dr. Anglin believes patients deserve clear information, open communication, and a treatment plan that reflects both medical needs and personal priorities.

💗 You are not just a diagnosis.

There’s a lot of misinformation surrounding breast cancer surgery — and understanding your options matters.

Myth vs. Fact: Not every diagnosis looks the same, and not every treatment plan should either. Breast cancer surgery is highly personalized, and today’s surgical approaches focus on both effective cancer care and thoughtful outcomes.

Dr. Anglin believes patients deserve clear information, open conversations, and a care plan built around their unique needs. You should feel empowered to ask questions, explore your options, and feel supported every step of the way.
