Since the late 1990s, Dr. Riegel has received training from the world's leading experts in Sexual Dysfunction, Menopause and Andropause Therapies and Age Management Medicine. He has combined his expertise in these disciplines into a new facet of his practice which he calls Aesthetic Restorative Medicine and Surgery. After great study and research, Dr. Riegel believes that humans naturally reach their pinnacle in health, energy, enthusiasm, strength, speed, intellectual and artistic curiosity in their teens and early twenties. As humans age, their performance declines parallel with a decline in their hormones. Many studies are concluding that a loss of hormones leads to the adult onset diseases of dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, heart disease, atherosclerosis, osteoporosis and colorectal cancer. Hormone replacement protects from adult onset diseases and restores performance. Hormone replacement is a necessary adjunct to healthy aging and quality of life.
When men have hormone replacement, they are treated to the hormone levels of a 25 year old. Dr. Riegel realized, through years of following his female patient hormone levels, women are only treated to the hormone levels of 45 to 50 years of age. He did not believe it was fair to women to have inferior treatment. Dr. Riegel conceived and tested proprietary hormone mixtures to replace all female hormone levels to those of 20 to 25 year olds. The comment Dr. Riegel hears most often from patients who have been on his formulas after one month, “I would have never believed I could feel this good, again!”
With the convenience of the internet, medical care is no longer restricted by location. Dr. Riegel is a hormone specialist and consultant. On-site appointments are not necessary. The Riegel Center has patients all over the Texas and the United States. You contact our office to become a patient and start our protocol. The majority of our patients have their labs drawn at their local Labcorp stations. We receive the results and contact the patient for a virtual appointment. Dr. Riegel obtains your medical and surgical history, then goes through a comprehensive list of symptoms with you. With your responses, lab results, height and weight, Dr. Riegel will recommend a dosage of hormones for you. We order your individualized hormones, package them with supplies and send them to you. You have labs drawn at the start, after one month on hormones, after three months and after six months. After the initial six months of therapy, labs and consultations occur every six months. The cost of consultations, labs and Dr. Riegel’s proprietary hormones amount to approximately the same as co-pays, alone, for standard pharmaceutical company hormone therapy.
