Aftercare Angels provides post-operative nursing care to patients of board certified plastic surgeons, orthopedic surgeons or anyone wanting a hassle free and convenient recovery, receiving one on one nursing care in the privacy of their own home (or hotel) while having the peace of mind knowing that they have a skilled and friendly nurse watching over them during the most crucial time of their healing and recovery process.

Our goal is to create a peaceful period for our patients, and at the same time, keep the home environment as stress free as possible for family member(s).

Our services include: transportation to and from healthcare facility, vitals monitoring, dressing changes, drain care, medication administration, constant teaching, etc.

We strive to keep clear communication and instruction with each and every patient along with absolute privacy, always.

Aftercare Angels services the DFW Metroplex, including Frisco, Prosper, Plano, Fairview, Mckinney, Southlake, Westlake, Trophy Club, Ft. Worth and the surrounding areas.

Special requests for outside of the areas listed above will always be considered so please do not hesitate to ask.

My objective as Founder of Aftercare Angels is to obtain a cutting-edge service that incorporates my many years of nursing experience, accomplishments and extensive customer relationships to produce positivity and peace of mind before and after surgery for each and every one of our beautiful patients.

When choosing a plastic surgeon, if you’re not feeling completely confident with his/her staff and you are having second thoughts, ask to speak to the office manager and let him/her know that you are having second thoughts and be honest with your reasons. Honesty is the best policy and a good manager will appreciate the input and fix the “issues” or concerns that you are expressing.

First and foremost, don’t be afraid to speak up, this is your body, your money and your choice and if you feel the office staff isn’t being helpful prior to surgery, it’s probably not going to get any better after surgery, unfortunately.

Keep in mind that every plastic surgeon can be slightly different with their pre-op and post-op instructions so it’s normal to hear different stories or different answers to a few of the questions, etc.

BUT........

If you are asking questions from your surgeon’s “staff” then they should be giving you the same answers, instructions and information.. that’s an impeccable reflection of staff communication, organization and 100% team work! 😇

Why Aftercare Angels is beneficial for you and your post-operative at home care needs:

1. We continuously monitor your progress, document and administer your medication(s) in a timely manner, watch closely for signs of infection or inadequate healing, encourage and assist with ambulation.

2. Per your doctor’s protocol, we will change dressings and empty and record your drain(s) output.

3. We stay in close contact with your surgeon(s) and/or anesthesiologist in case any complications arise or if you have additional questions.

4. Aftercare Angels retains the most impressive staffing standard in the industry: 1 nurse per 1 patient. This 1:1 ratio ensures excellent quality care and personalized attention. During your postop recovery, your nurse is your nurse. You do not share your nurse with anyone else.

5. We are available 24 hours a day.

6. Your peace of mind alone is worth the cost (after surgery) to hire a skilled and knowledgeable nurse to stay and watch over you in the privacy of your own home for as long as you need until you feel 100% comfortable taking care of yourself.
