The Texas Society of Anesthesiologists Office Based Anesthesia Committee held their first committee meeting at the annual TSA Meeting in San Antonio this past weekend. The committee is predominately composed of anesthesiologists, like Dr Thornton, who specialize in dental anesthesia. The discussions surrounded patient safety and advocacy for guidelines particular to sedation in the dental office.
