Residents at Atria Kennebunk had the pleasure of taking a scenic bike ride with the Seacoast Wheelers.

"It was fun," shares Meredith, one of the residents who went for a ride. "I met others who shared my interests, and it renewed my love of biking. It brought out the adventurer in me! I can’t wait to do it again."

The fresh air, sunshine and wind on their faces left everyone smiling.

Mike's servant heart shines at Atria Grapevine. A proud veteran with 27 years of military service, he now leads Bible study three days a week and even helps run the community's monthly town hall meetings.

He calls living here “a blessing – absolutely” and says the best part is the family feel, the smiles and the chance to encourage others. "I can’t say enough about this place."

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we savored the flavors of Guatemala. Known as the birthplace of chocolate, Guatemalan cuisine blends Mayan tradition with Spanish influences to create vibrant and tasty dishes.

On the menu: tostones, guacamole, enchiladas, refried black beans, with cucumber salad, and tres leches cake.

We can't wait to see – and taste – the cuisine from our destination next month!

At 92, Roslyn, a resident at Atria Tarzana, still arrives early for her hospital volunteer shifts, bright blue jacket on, ready to help. At Atria Forest Hills, there is an extraordinary culinary duo leading the kitchen. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

The Director of Culinary Services, Stacey, and Cook, Javier, bring passion and creativity to every dish – from Chicken Florentine to resident favorites like meatballs and tiramisu. Stacey followed her dream of becoming a chef after studying nursing, and Javier finds joy in crafting meals from scratch and seeing residents’ smiles in return. "I really find fulfillment from positive feedback, especially from residents," Javier says.

We celebrate Stacey, Javier and all of our awesome culinary teams for the flavor, care and heart they bring to our communities every day.

Memory care residents at Atria Newport Beach had a great time making no bake mini cinnamon rolls. "They were easy to make, smelled absolutely delicious and were very tasty," reported Lucia, the community's Memory Care Director.

Happy Grandparents day to all!

Today we introduced our stuffies to more residents, and these absolutely adorable grandchildren and great grandchildren.

After the introduction we headed to the theater. We snacked on popcorn and sipped our delicious Capri Suns.

We enjoyed the movie Leo.

These cuties have been playing an active roll at Canyon Creek. You see we have a very special event on Sunday, September 7th at 3pm.

It's a very special day! What day is it? It's Grandparents Day!

The cuties have been meeting staff and learning their way around Canyon Creek.

You are invited to invite your grands and great grands to Canyon Creek. We will invite your guests to choose a cutie, and then at 3:30pm we will head to the theater cuties in tow for a fun movie. We'll snack on popcorn and sip our juice boxes. 😋

We cannot wait to meet you and your grands! We cannot wait to introduce you to your new friends/neighbors and their grands. See you on Sunday!!

Labor Day was such a great celebration! Neighbors, friends, staff and family all coming together warms our hearts, puts smiles on our faces!

Our indoor picnic buffet was scrumptious! I do believe we saved room for dessert, we ate until we are stuffed!

The Greater Outdoors was celebrated at Canyon Creek today. Residents along with the Canyon Creek Team enjoyed Trail Mix and more before heading out to The Greater Outdoors!

They ventured out and to their surprise were the cutest little farm friends from Cathy's Critters.

Uuuuu's, ohhhhhhh's, ahhhhh's and awww's could be heard from afar!
