Last week gave us the opportunity to connect with so many dedicated professionals across the senior living and healthcare community.

We started the week at the NTAGS monthly meeting hosted by The Aspenwood Company community, Village on the Park McKinney, where we had the privilege of hearing from Zoe Martin. She shared the beautiful work she does through filmed legacy stories, helping families preserve meaningful memories and turn life stories into lasting keepsakes for loved ones. đŸ©”

Wednesday’s networking event at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen and the monthly NPRA of DFW meeting hosted by The Preston of the Park Cities, gave us the chance to reconnect with familiar faces and meet more professionals dedicated to supporting seniors throughout their healthcare journey.

One thing that always stands out at these gatherings is the shared commitment to supporting older adults and their families in meaningful ways. Every conversation, introduction, and new connection strengthens the network of resources available to the families we serve. We’re thankful to be part of such a collaborative community and look forward to continuing to build relationships that help make transitions smoother for seniors and their loved ones.

We had a different kind of introduction at today’s networking event presented by Seniors Blue Book Greater Dallas and hosted by The Healthcare Resort of Plano Assisted Living Facility. Not only did we all share what we do, but also something a little more personal.

With Mother’s Day around the corner, we talked about our plans and the women who mean the most to us. It was a simple shift, but one that made the room feel a little more connected.

As we kick off May, we didn’t want to let April go by without taking a moment to appreciate the relationships built, conversations shared, and time spent with so many great people in our network. The last few weeks of March were filled with just that.

We enjoyed attending the Dallas Area Gerontological Society - DAGS meeting hosted by Twin Rivers Assisted Living and Memory Care, where Dr. Nicholas Radikos shared helpful insight on understanding medications. We also loved being part of the NTAGS North Texas Area Gerontological Society Spring Fling and silent auction at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, bringing together many familiar faces for a fun and meaningful evening.

The NPRA of DFW Professional Happy Hour at Village on the Park Plano was another wonderful opportunity to catch up and build relationships. We enjoyed a great morning at the Breakfast Club gathering, hosted by Legend of McKinney, a great way to start the day. And to wrap up the month, we attended The LinkD Network North Dallas event, hosted by Discovery Village At Castle Hills.

Grateful for these moments and the people we get to do this work alongside. Looking forward to more of it đŸ€!

Yesterday we had the privilege of attending the NPRA of DFW (National Placement and Referral Alliance) meeting, where our founder Jeff was honored to sit on the panel and participate in an important discussion about caregiver burnout.

Caregiver burnout is something many families experience but often don’t recognize right away. It can look like constant exhaustion, feeling overwhelmed or isolated, difficulty balancing responsibilities, increased stress or anxiety, and even neglecting your own health while caring for a loved one. Caregivers give so much of themselves, and it’s important to acknowledge when support is needed.

With over two decades of hands-on experience working in senior living, Jeff has extensive knowledge and experience in helping families navigate senior living decisions and finding solutions that support both their loved ones and the caregivers who care for them.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of these important conversations and to continue advocating for families and caregivers in our community.

We had a wonderful week of connection and community!

On Wednesday, we attended a networking event at the gorgeous The Preserve at Spring Creek, such a beautiful setting to connect with fellow professionals who share a heart for serving seniors.

Thursday, we had the opportunity to attend the Dementia Friendly Dallas annual meeting hosted by Juliette Fowler Communities. Dementia Friendly Dallas is an incredible organization, reminding us of the many meaningful ways we can create more supportive and understanding communities, for individuals living with dementia and their families.

It was a great week of learning and sharing with others who are passionate about helping seniors and their families thrive.
